US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approves second booster shot of corona vaccine
The FDA said in a statement that the booster shot could be given four months after the fourth and third doses of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, and the second booster shot of the Corona vaccine could be given to people over 50 years of age.

The US agency says children over the age of 12 with a weakened immune system will be given a second booster shot of Pfizer, while those over the age of 18 with a weakened immune system will be given a second booster dose of Moderna.
White House Communications Director Kate Beddingfield said in a press briefing that the approval of the second dose of Corona booster dose is a good decision, the purpose of the second booster shot is to provide more protection against serious illness and hospitalization.
