ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The National Assembly session was adjourned till Sunday without any discussion on the motion of no-confidence against Prime Minister Imran Khan. The meeting of the National Assembly could barely last for 11 minutes. When the proceedings of the meeting started, Babar Awan moved a motion to adjourn the meeting due to the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security, which was rejected after the vote. Opposition members, including PPP's Shazia Murree and PML-N's Rohail Asghar, asked the Deputy Speaker the same question during Question Hour when the no-confidence motion against Imran Khan would be voted on. Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri said that the members of the National Assembly were not showing seriousness during Question Hour and the members did not seem serious in asking questions. Therefore, the National Assembly session will be adjourned till 11:30 am on Sunday, April 3 Opposition and government members chanted slogans after the adjournment of the meeting, while members of the opposition continued to play desks during the proceedings. Opposition members staged a sit-in protest on their seats. He said that the elected Prime Minister has no right to remain in office. Zardari has said that his clear message to Imran Khan is that there is no safe passage for him now. He has no NRO, no amnesty and no backdoor exit. The only option they have is to resign and let Shahbaz Sharif get a vote of confidence. Imran Khan is grabbing everyone's feet to save the chair. How long will Imran Khan run away?
