 Political turmoil has erupted in Pakistan, with the united opposition making every effort to remove Imran Khan from the PM's post.

Meanwhile, former Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Afridi has made an appeal on Twitter considering the current situation in the country.

Shahid Afridi tweeted, “74 years have passed since the founding of Pakistan. Please allow one elected government to fulfill its constitutional term because every elected government has the right to fulfill its constitutional term.

He said that the evils of 74 years would be over.

It should be noted that in the 74-year political era of Pakistan, no Prime Minister has been able to complete his five-year term till date and now that the opposition numbers have been completed, it seems that Imran Khan will not be able to complete his term.

It may be recalled that a meeting of the parliamentary parties of the united opposition was held yesterday in which the opposition claimed that 173 members of the National Assembly were present while the support of 172 members was required for the success of the movement.

It should be noted that the decision on whether Imran Khan will remain in the PM's chair will be taken after a vote of confidence on Sunday, April 3.
