ISLAMABAD (News Agencies, TV Report): All unconstitutional tactics have failed. After keeping the Pakistani nation in a state of hegemony for a week, Prime Minister Imran Khan has been fired. Speaker Asad Qaiser's sacrifice was accepted, Asad Qaiser resigned after refusing to vote on the no-confidence motion and the house was handed over to Ayaz Sadiq after which Ayaz Sadiq proceeded with the proceedings of the meeting under his presidency As a result of the vote, 174 votes were cast in favor of the no-confidence motion, after which Imran Khan resigned from the post of Prime Minister. Opposition members chanted slogans after the success of the resolution Imran Khan became the first Prime Minister of the country to be ousted through the no-confidence motion. Earlier, Speaker Asad Qaiser held a day-long meeting to fulfill Imran Khan's orders. According to details, the opposition's no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan in the National Assembly won with 174 votes. Earlier, as per the directions of the Supreme Court, during the sitting of the lower house of parliament on the no-confidence motion, after the announcement of resignation by Speaker Asad Qaiser, PML-N MPA and former Speaker Ayaz Sadiq convened a meeting. The presidency began. Speaker Asad Qaiser came to the House and told the members that in view of the ground realities, I have decided to resign from my post and asked Ayaz Sadiq to continue the proceedings of the meeting as a member of the panel of chairman. Ayaz Sadiq, as a member of the panel of chairs, presided over the National Assembly session and initiated action on the no-confidence motion moved by the Leader of the Opposition. Government members walked out of the assembly and vacated the seats. Ayaz Sadiq ordered to close the doors of the house and said that the sitting has to be adjourned at 12 o'clock as the new day will start and said that voting is being allowed under the order of the Supreme Court. Ayaz Sadiq read out a no-confidence motion and said that the Prime Minister's House expresses no confidence in Imran Khan. They began the voting process and adjourned the meeting for two minutes at 12 noon. After a two minute break, the House resumed its session. After the recitation of Holy Quran and Naat, the national anthem was recited. Pakistan Peoples Party MPA Naveed Qamar presented the resolution. Following the resolution, the members' no-confidence motion was counted. Ayaz Sadiq announced that 174 members have voted in favor of the no-confidence motion. As soon as the no-confidence motion was successful, the PML-N members sat on the government benches and chanted slogans of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Gu Niazi Gu, Sher Aya Sher Aya. Deviant members were also present in the House during the no-confidence motion. Upon hearing the news of the failure of the movement, PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman reached the gallery of guests of the National Assembly and received congratulations. Earlier, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser refused to vote on a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan. Later, the important session of the National Assembly started at 10:30 am. After some time, a break was taken till 12:30 pm but then the meeting started at 2:30 pm but despite the demand of the opposition, voting was not held and during this time the members of the assembly continued to give long speeches after which Speaker Asad Qaiser offered Asr prayers at 5 pm. The meeting was adjourned till 7.30 pm when the meeting started after the prayers. According to reports, 51 members of the government were present in the National Assembly session but the Prime Minister was not present. The Speaker while presiding over the meeting said that he would take action as per the decision of the Supreme Court. Speeches were made by various members of the National Assembly in the National Assembly session so far but the voting process on no-confidence could not start, Shahbaz Sharif said while addressing the Assembly session today.
