ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A constitutional crisis has erupted in the country, with the Deputy Speaker dismissing the no-confidence motion as unconstitutional. According to details, the government has given a big surprise to the opposition. The Deputy Speaker declared the no-confidence motion unconstitutional and adjourned the National Assembly session. Declaring it unconstitutional, a meeting of the National Assembly was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri. The meeting started 38 minutes late from the scheduled time. The Deputy Speaker did not vote on the no-confidence motion moved by the Leader of the Opposition but said that the questions raised by the Law Minister were absolutely correct, the no-confidence motion must be in accordance with the Constitution National power does not have the right to overthrow the elected government of Pakistan under conspiracy, so I rule that no-confidence motion is against the constitution, national sovereignty and independence.
