Remarks that Punjab Chief Minister should hold the election as soon as possible, do not show spectacle, sit down and solve the problem, the court has to see whether the session of the Punjab Assembly can be postponed in this way, repeatedly asking why the election was delayed, election If the process starts, the meeting cannot be adjourned. The assembly should be repaired and elections should be held in a smooth manner. Barrister Ali Zafar, lawyer of Pervez Elahi, asked for time to submit reply. In order to be a party in the petition before the Chief Justice Amir Bhatti Court, PML-Q lawyer Amir Saeed Ran took the position that our members are being detained, to which the Chief Justice remarked that his candidate Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi. There are parties, call a meeting and see the matter there, Hamza Shahbaz's lawyer Azam Nazir "We are also saying that a meeting should be called. Justice Amir Bhatti remarked that we have to ask the concerned authority how to hold elections," he said. How will the election be held and what is its procedure? The public prosecutor said that many facts have been hidden in the petition of Hamza Shahbaz while Azam Nazir Tarar said that after the resignation of the Chief Minister this post is now vacant. Secretary Punjab Assembly asked do you have a record? He said that the resignation was accepted on April 1 and the election schedule was announced on April 2. We received the nomination papers which were also scrutinized. The nomination papers were accepted. A meeting was called on April 3 for voting. "The presiding officer of the meeting was the deputy speaker. The meeting was adjourned by the deputy speaker due to a commotion. The opposition broke into the house. They stayed in the lobby till 8 o'clock at night. We have all the videos." I reported what happened, the Secretary of the Assembly added that social media found out that on April 6 it was written on a piece of paper to hold a meeting, this paper was not marked to anyone, we removed it from the Internet, we Inspected it on 6th April, 5 date is written on this paper, we called the deputy speaker several times but he did not pick up the phone, we checked that this letter was not collected anywhere in the assembly. Told, the Speaker withdrew the powers of the Speaker from the Deputy Speaker, the court inquired what was the reason for withdrawing the powers? When you did not even get this letter, where did you have to proceed? The Secretary of the Assembly said that after the motion of no-confidence came, the Deputy Speaker could not convene a meeting, to which the Chief Justice asked where it was written. I am asking the Deputy Speaker to revoke the powers of the Speaker. Why this? The only question before the court is under what law was the election postponed? Apparently the meeting could not be adjourned, I think the election time may change but the day may not change, this is not an interference in the work of Parliament, the Speaker himself is a candidate, he took back the powers of the Deputy Speaker, lawyer Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said that the powers were withdrawn to the extent of Assembly Rule 25, on which the Chief Justice asked under which law whoever changed the date of election, how can anyone change the date by deviating from the election schedule? Lawyer Speaker Punjab Assembly Ali Zafar said that the court cannot interfere in the work of Parliament or Provincial Assembly. The matter came up in the Supreme Court but no order was passed on it. A statement was made in the Supreme Court on this. In the court, there was an exchange of harsh words between the Speaker's Assembly lawyer Ali Zafar and Hamza Shahbaz's lawyer Azam Nazir Tarar on which the Chief Justice said that you should not quarrel with each other. Until his arrival, a meeting was being held in the Advocate General's Office for the election of Punjab Chief Minister on the direction of Chief Justice Lahore High Court. The Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Secretary Punjab Assembly, and the lawyers of the Chief Ministerial candidates are also present. The Speaker, Deputy Speaker and the candidate should work out a solution together and inform the court about whatever they decide.
