Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif meets leaders of allied parties

 Newly elected Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has met the leaders of the coalition parties, for which he reached the houses of all the coalition leaders.


The Prime Minister met Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his father former President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad.

He called on MQM convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and other leaders at Parliament Lodges.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also visited the residence of PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and called on him.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also met Sardar Ataullah Mengal, Khalid Magsi, Shahzain Bugti and Aslam Bhootani.

During the meetings, Mian Shahbaz Sharif thanked the coalition leaders, leaders and members of the Assembly for their nomination, vote and cooperation for the post of Prime Minister.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also held important consultations with the leaders of the coalition parties on the formation of the cabinet.

Talking to the leaders of the coalition parties, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that they would move forward with the same spirit and mutual trust through which they have reached this destination.

He also said that they will work in the spirit of unity, consultation and cooperation, solve problems together and fulfill their promises.

Shahbaz Sharif is the 23rd Prime Minister

It should be noted that Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif was sworn in as the 23rd Prime Minister of Pakistan last night.

The swearing in ceremony of newly elected Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif was held at the Presidency.

Chairman Senate takes oath

Acting President and Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjarani administered the oath of office of Prime Minister to Shahbaz Sharif after the President went on leave due to illness of Dr. Arif Alvi.

Who attended the swearing-in ceremony?

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by senior civil and military officials, political leaders, members of parliament and other dignitaries.

On the first day, a guard of honor was presented to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Maryam Nawaz, Hamza Shahbaz, Maulana Fazlur Rehman and other leaders of the united government, members of the National Assembly and the Senate attended the ceremony.

Ambassadors of different countries were also present at the swearing-in ceremony.

Earlier, the National Assembly had elected Shahbaz Sharif as the new Prime Minister of the country with 174 votes.
